Long Overdue…
For years now, people concerned about First Amendment and good government issues have worked to reform Pennsylvania’s antiquated open records law.
And for years, public officials have fought tooth and nail to keep it.
But the tide is changing. A number of new factors are at play.
The government reform movement.
Many new faces in the legislature.
A renewed determination by those passionate about making government transparent and accountable.
All these factors are coming together to make new legislation a real possibility.
