These Terms of Service govern your use of the passopenrecords.org website (the “Site”).
By using this Site, you agree to adhere to these Terms of Service and to use the Site as stipulated by the Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the Site. Accessing the Site in any manner constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on use of the Site, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Service on this website. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Terms of Service, as modified.

All views you post are your own and unless specifically stated are not those of passopenrecords.org or the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. We also are not responsible for the content of any third-party posts or external sites or comments referenced. If you think any content posted or otherwise provided in the Blog violates these Terms and Conditions of Use, please
alert us.
We will edit and remove any post per our discretion, and as further provided for in these Terms and Conditions of Use. We are not obligated to display any post submitted.
About Passopenrecords.org
We want our Site to be an open, respectful place for everyone wanting to participate. We want to make certain all comments are civil, tasteful and relevant. We’re committed to providing a venue in which constructive and mature conversations can take place. Therefore:
• No flaming. Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable comments are not acceptable.
• No swearing. If you do swear, it will appear as ***s or potentially not at all. If you are quoting it may be acceptable.
• No spamming or flooding. Don’t post the same comment more than once.
• No advertising. We can only accept posts that are your own opinion, not those that we suspect have a vested interest.
• No impersonation. Using an inappropriate user name (one that is vulgar, for example) is unacceptable.
• Personal data. Be careful with including email addresses and instant messaging numbers or anyone else’s personal information.
• Only include suitable URLs. Links to websites we consider unsuitable will be removed. Make certain any URL adds value to the subject at hand. Unsuitable sites would include those with racist material, pornographic or sexually explicit material, potentially defamatory material, anything which encourages illegal activities, material which infringes copyright, sites that promote commercial products or services without containing material which enhances the subject matter, or any other sites that may offend our users.
• Please don’t post for suspended users. Anyone who posts on behalf of a suspended user may also have their account suspended.
• No harassment. Passopenrecords.org welcomes feedback, both positive and negative, about our content, but please make sure your comments are in line with the posting rules. Repeatedly posting personal or offensive comments about individuals or entities may be considered harassment. We reserve the right to remove such messages and take action against those responsible.
Compliance with others Laws:You may not post any defamatory or illegal material, or any other material that is in violation of these Terms and Conditions of Use. Posting a message with the intention of committing an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
Under 18:If you are under 18 please get a parent’s or guardian’s permission before posting. Never reveal personal information about yourself — your telephone number, home address or email address.
Antisocial Behavior:We will not accept participation from anyone behaving in an antisocial manner. Examples of antisocial behavior include deliberately dragging conversations off-topic or holding personal conversations in general discussions. We reserve the right to delete any posting or account, at any time, for any reason.
Intellectual Property Rights
Your License to Passopenrecords.org and the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. By posting or submitting any material (including, without limitation, photos and videos) to us via the Site, you are representing: (i) that you are the owner of the material, or are making your posting or submission with the express consent of the owner of the material; and (ii) that you are thirteen years of age or older. In addition, when you submit or post any material, you are granting us, and anyone authorized by us, a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, transmit, sell, exploit, create derivative works from, distribute, and/or publicly perform or display such material, in whole or in part, in any manner or medium, now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose. The foregoing grant shall include the right to exploit any proprietary rights in such posting or submission, including, but not limited to, rights under copyright, trademark, service mark or patent laws under any relevant jurisdiction. Also, in connection with the exercise of such rights, you grant us, and anyone authorized by us, the right to identify you as the author of any of your postings or submissions by name, email address or screen name, as we deem appropriate.

Throughout the Site, we provide links and pointers to Internet sites maintained by third parties. This does not imply an endorsement or sponsorship of such sites, or the information, products or services offered on or through the sites. Neither we nor any affiliated company operate or control information, products or services that third parties may provide on or through the Site or on websites linked to the Site.
Interactive Features
This Site may include ways for feedback to us and real-time interaction between users, and other features allowing users to communicate with others. Responsibility for what is posted on comments, web logs and other public posting areas on the Site, or sent via any email services on the Site, lies with each user. We do not control the messages, information or files that you or others may provide through the Site.

Termination

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
