Senate to vote on SB1 today

Yesterday, the Senate approved amendments to SB 1 and is expected to vote on the final passage of the bill today, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
The Patriot-News did a great job on running down the list of what is and what’s not open in SB1:
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
A bill in the state Senate would revamp the state’s open records law.
WOULD BE OPEN
1. Records regarding all expenditures by the House, Senate and state courts.
2. Applications for state grant funds.
3. Salaries of officers and 25 highest-paid employees of state-related universities.
4. Audits of public agencies.
STILL CLOSED
1. Most medical and personnel records
2. Personal information such as driver’s licenses and Social Security numbers.
3. Most communications to and from lawmakers.
4. Criminal investigative files.
5. 911 calls.
6. Autopsy reports.
