Movement on open records?

According to Capitolwire, the House State Government Comittee is scheduled to meet Wednesday on HB 2072. The Scranton Times-Tribune reports that the Senate may take up SB 1 for a floor vote this week, with “The expectation [that] each chamber will pass its own bill version, said House Deputy Speaker Josh Shapiro, D-Montgomery, on Monday. Then a conference committee will be formed to produce a joint bill that can be voted down in each chamber.”
In an interview with Chris Lilienthal of the AP, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Ronald Castille says that the Supreme Court “is far ahead of the state Legislature in open records…I don’t care what bill they write, we are so far ahead of them….We have vouchered expenses, that’s all available, as opposed to the $300 million that they have for community development in the Legislature, where you can’t find out where it goes.” (The interview is pretty lengthy - that information is about halfway down the page.)
