Today, The Harrisburg Patriot-News’ Brett Lieberman reports that the Center for Public Integrity gave PA a failing grade in financial disclosure.
Yesterday’s Pittsburgh Tribune-Review had more on Hempfield School District’s $12,000 probe of staff emails.
And Wednesday’s Philadelphia Inquirer had a story on the budget in which Erik Arnenson, a spokesman for Sen. Dominic Pileggi, said “the top priority for Pileggi this fall is revising the state’s open records law to expand public access to government records at every level.” Sen. Pileggi also issued a press release stating that Right-to-Know is his top priority for the fall session. House Majority Leader Bill DeWeese also said they would consider open records reform in the fall.
